As to the pundits- remember back to June when JK was trashed as annoying both the Palestinians and the Israelis and being obsessed and delusional that peace talks could occur. Then remember how few said they were wrong. (I loved the comments of both Palestinians and Israelis in the BG article mostly on Teresa ) Remember how he just stayed focused - even after Teresa became very ill?

On ABC, Obama told Diane Sawyer that Kerry will work with Lavrov on this. I think they both want it to work. (According to one account a few months ago, they bonded as big hockey fans.)

As to the chattering class, I agree with these words from Dylan -
