I keep remembering that the Hanukah song that Peter Yarrow wrote and sang at the 2010 Boston Pops celebration of Kerry's 25 years as Senator and 45 years of public service. After telling the story of how he came to write it, he commented that it was also an appropriate song for the person being honored. Listening after that insight, Yarrow was right.



As SoS, he certainly hasn't ever given up on chances to do good.
