Not ‘consumer confidence’ but being slapped in the face by capitalism reality.

Howard Schultz, notoriously anti union, brought back as Starbucks ceo just as unions gaining a bit.

The Big Guys want to scrape up every last penny while workers are going hungry. Remember the homeless worker fired by Amazon for union organizing?

Price gouging and profiteering is a zero sum game.

Time to rewrite script from shopping to sharing. (Remember the despicable ‘go shopping’ statement from Bush right after 9/11 attack?)

Great way to make friends, build community, cut waste, increase leisure time for kids and pets and gardens.
