Within a generation the public will be so educated in psy issues, personalities, self-help support that the esoteric nature of these priests of emotions will burst. Venture capital is on board? Signal of a peak ahead. Also the quality of the profession is in the tank. 40 years ago you needed a shrink and found one from solid, long-term degree programs at private universities, perhaps even Ivy League, or state universities. Now every startup evening program at minor league colleges have a counseling degree, and some are even available over the internet globally! The rigorousness of these programs? Night schools. Quality of instructors? Graduates of night schools. They can call it mental health but it's a rebellion against structures imposed on the masses, and the structuralists have sown their own irrelevance.
