It isn’t an uncommon story for failing large capital investments to still look appealing to another company that can pick up assets for pennies on the dollar.

But what this story makes clear is that the gang that was promising us that wind and solar would continue to get cheaper and cheaper until they paid for themselves… were largely full of hot air.
