So my oven died today, the baking element....... [View all]

I thought it might be fun to keep a sort of diary of how much trouble I get into trying to fix it.

Since the oven is so old it doesn't seem to have a model number anywhere, I had to start by just picking out a new element that looked like it would fit. So far I'm down about 25 bucks to Amazon, with delivery scheduled for Oct. 24.
