What was the best thing or things you bought at a yard sale for a buck or less? [View all]

Do not include the free box, we can do another post for those.

I bought a set of 7 soup large ceramic cups for a dollar. Big coffee drinker and I use for cereal and yogurt. I wash at least 3 a day. Bought an old baseball at a sale that wasn't out on a table, just sitting on a shelf. Held it up and the guy said a quarter. Turned out to be a "dead ball" era item from about 1900. Sold next day to a collector I know for Thirty bucks and he thought it was the best buy he made all year. A 4-cup Pyrex measuring cup I use at least twice a day for 50 cents.
I resell at the local antique mall, but find so many useful things I use everyday, dirt cheap.
