One could see their breath as you walked from Weps Berthing to the afterhead where the showers were located. I'd turn on the water, hold my hand into the shower stream for a minute of so while I steeled myself then take a deep breath and jump into the shower. After the initial shock, I'd wet down enough to lather up and shut the water off. After shampooing my hair and soaping myself up, I'd scrub for a bit before turning the water back on to rinse off.

Cold showers are not my cup of tea.
