3. I read yesterday about the 2022 Ford e-Transit van...

They're producing it in 3 sizes. The smallest rates about 125 miles on a full charge. Not bad for local commuting. I believe they're starting at just under $45,000. Not sure I'm ready to pay that much, but unless something better/cheaper comes out in the next few years, that will be my next vehicle.

I'm an electrician. I burn at least 5 gallons of gas a day. At 3 bucks a gallon, that's 15 bucks a day, 75 a week. Insanity.

Not sure yet about a charging station. I do have an available 240 slot in my service. It's on the side of the house that I park at, so that should be good. I'd like to add another set of batteries and enough solar panels to charge the new batteries and go with a DC charging station. Just not sure yet. I still need to do a little more homework.
