Why is DU celebrating that ISIS has conquered Syria? [View all]

Because it hurts Russia geopolitically?

Do I need to remind everyone that the rebel-alliance that has conquered Syria is a hodge-podge mix that not only consists of secular rebels like the druzish and kurdish ethnicities fighting for freedom, but also affiliates/offshots/allies of ISIS and Al-Qaeda?

The next rulers of Syria will be extremist islamists who will reign with an iron fist of terror, just like the Taliban.

A murderous socialist dictatorship has been replaced with a murderous islamist dictatorship
