Children on the verge of starving may never recover their health. Polio has been reported in Gaza, and it’s obvious that routine vaccinations are not possible because Israel strictly limits both food and medicine from entering Gaza. I do not question Israel’s right to exist, but I do question the morality of what they are now doing in Gaza. Even their own military has said that Hamas cannot be excised by bombing, and the few Hamas fighters they manage to kill, mostly low-level foot soldiers, are at the expense of thousands of civilian lives. This war is now unjust.
