8. I have a little personal story for you regarding the Al Capone case

In a little town in the somewhat middle of Nebraska is a large Tudor mansion, not in keeping with the rest of the town which is decidedly middle class.

It is on a large piece of property and surrounded with a black metal fence, the expensive kind. The mansion itself is beautiful, built from stone. There are all the luxury amenities, such as a pool, etc.

Who lives there?

A lawyer who helped put Al Capone away for tax evasion.

Yep, he was so cautious he located his entire family to the hinterlands where let me tell you, some Chicago or NY style gangsta' who came into town would stand out. The natives all knew the story so that in itself was a form of security.

For the rest of his career, he commuted weekly to DC, Chicago, or NY. Kinda' like what Joe Biden did, only the trip was much more tedious.

The lawyer has since passed on and the house is in the hands of another family.

I have family in this little town, so that's how I know about it.
