Since this is a 9/11 aniversary... [View all]

thought I'd post this, mainly because it annoys me to put a lot of time into constructing a reply to someone, only to hit "post" and find the thread's been locked.

This, in reply to a thread about the ae911truth video, here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/10023643919

Somewhere in that video:

there's a segment where the architects and engineers. the PROFESSIONALS who construct such high-rises, made a formal request to the Government for technical details of how the steel beams were supposed to have failed.

The Govt. denied their request, stating, ....wait for it.........."national security".

So, let's see....if a passenger plane crashes into the ocean, with significant loss of life, the officials dredge up the pieces, with a sieve if necessary, and reconstruct the plane, so they can determine exactly what failed and why, and do everything possible to prevent a recurrence.

You would think the US Govt. would be at pains to determine how all these beams failed. SYMMETRICALLY. Three times in one day. But, no, they couldn't share info with the PROFESSIONALS who have studied 'Strength of Materials' and other arcane matters. Passing strange!

Then there's Larry Silverstein, who should get the Darwin Award, because he's too stupid to live; or at least to lie effectively.

He said, regarding Building 7, that there had been so much loss of life that he said, "Pull it". Later he claimed he was referring to the firefighters. IT! - pulling them from the building. Yeah, Larry! That's syntactically incorrect, you moron! Unless you were talking about something else....hmm?
