2. I was so disappointed that I couldn't go!

I had injured my Achilles Tendon and was going to a podiatrist. She's a very smart young Indian woman. We were talking about the march. She was going, but she told me that I shouldn't because of my injury. So I signed my name on a piece of paper and asked her to carry it, so that I could be there in spirit.

I later saw a lot of the buses heading down Rt. 1 to the march, and was honking my horn and waving to them in solidarity. When I saw how big the crowd was, I was actually glad that I had followed my doctor's advice.
