3. Unfortunately, the new vaccine manufacturer did not sign a contract for participation in BRIDGE program

because Congress did not extend it as CDC and WH intended in the last budget. (this is the program for the uninsured which is ending). For this reason, I recommended that three patients go quickly to CVS, Kroger-King Soopers, or Walgreens (all participants in the Bridge program) before August 31 to get it before the program ends. Still, because there is no contract for the 2024 vaccine just released (and no one has the old one) they were refused the vaccine (sans paying te $200) and are out of luck. I have contacted my Congressional delegation about this and suggest all here do so too.
