It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to call - that it came on so quick might be good? Have you had your flu shot?

Edited to add: Your doc might want to get some Tamiflu into you, but it has to be quick, within 72 hours of starting symptoms, I think. Do call and see what they think, AFAIK, it couldn't hurt.
