Anorexia is extremely painful to deal with. You end up harming those you love the most by harming yourself. There was a time when I myself was mildly anorexic which is ironic considering I've been overweight most of my life. I got into a weight loss thing that became an obsession and I ended up 135 lbs (I'm a 6'1 guy). Somehow I had managed to turn it around and instead of eating when depressed I didn't eat. I've always had self hatred issues, though this was more a protest over being forced to do things I didn't want to do at the time. But the self hatred made it easy to do. I can't explain why I hated myself, and still have issues with it. Well, I mean I can explain WHY, I know the factual reasons why I do but for anyone else they wouldn't add up to hating ones self. I guess that's what the underlying depression and anxiety has done, helped to colour and twist other emotional issues into something that much worse.
I'm sorry I can offer nothing more than sympathy. I hope for the very best for your daughter! 
It seems like so pathetically little when we are at rock bottom but sadly it's all anyone can usually offer another.
