If they are in business to provide maximal profit income for shareholders, equity funders, venture capitalists or hedge funds, then they should take the easy, slimy way out and do as they are doing. If their mission is to provide the necessary care and medicine required by their customer patients, then they need to stand up to all of the AG's and say, "Try it and you're in for a very long and very messy fight".
By taking the actions that they have, they have defined their mission. My own personal mission is to withhold support from such organizations.
