In the long run, to keep weight off, eat a nutritious diet and the body won't crave vast quantities of food to fill the empty-calorie gap.

If you need an app to eat or not eat, you are doing it wrong.

Intermittent fasting is easy and may have some usefulness. I do it naturally by eating when I am hungry, not when the clock says Eat! Get so involved in doing things that you lose track of time.
