Betty Crocker! Who knew? [View all]

I was looking for a cranberry sauce recipe using cognac and was surprised when the one that ticked off all if the boxes for me was from a source I remember from my 1950’s childhood.

Cognac Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
1 bag (12 oz) fresh (or frozen and thawed) whole cranberries
3/4 cup light brown sugar (not packed)
3/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup cognac or brandy
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch ground allspice
Pinch ground cloves
Pinch ground nutmeg
Pinch salt
