I really think that's the best sink material for the average house. Durable. Reasonable price. Sufficiently flexible that not every dropped glass is a goner. Some of the higher end units (I can't recall which) have high polished highlights that really set them off.

Would your granite counter cut out accept an undermount stainless steel sink? That might be the best of all worlds.
