13. I have a deep dislike of stainless steel.

I find it much harder to clean than my old porcelain sink. Plus there is something about the additive that my local water company adds to the water to prevent pipes corroding that stainless steel does not like.

If I were looking for a house to buy and I walked into a kitchen with stainless appliances, I would walk right out again. Stainless steel and granite countertops, the Formica of the decade. (I actually like Formica, though.)
