“The leaves and roots of comfrey contain pyrrolizidine alkaloids, which can damage the liver of dogs. If this herb is consumed on a regular basis, it may facilitate the development of cancer. Thus, do not let dogs anywhere near comfrey.”

Our puppies eat plants in the yard with annoying persistence.
