Bayard's Garden, What's in Bloom this Week [View all]

I've been working on this landscaping project for the past couple months. We had this ugly space going to the back door and little deck that was hard to mow anyway. So, inspiration struck, since I also do a lot of other hardscaping around the place. The orangey rocks came from a farmer's field here. The sandstone pavers came from a friend who decided to get rid of her fishpond. So, the only thing I actually bought were the baby shrubs. Those are Purple Cone Flowers and Black-eyed Susans growing at the edge of the walk. I still have a few more things to do yet, but its mostly finished.
