I was right about this year's garlic harvest. It's one of the best ones, yet [View all]

Far more HUGE heads than I've ever found. I've picked less but have more that are an ideal size so I'm less concerned with picking the smaller ones.

I'll do one more pass through what's left to see if I've missed anything substantial but I've got plenty to see me through.

The summer squash is also doing really well and there are lots of tomatoes and sweet peppers, and all are looking really healthy.

Tonight and tomorrow we are in the path of what's left of tropical storm Beryl. Fingers crossed we don't get TOO much wind/rain. I remember one year when I lose everything after the wind store up my veg garden. It does look like we're on the edge so that gives me hope.
