4. Bag culture is SOP for a lot of commercial growers of certain crops now.

Such as greenhouse cucumbers and tomatoes in SW Ontario. They just use the bagged potting mix, and cut a slit to insert the transplant. Cheap, fast, easy. After the crop cycle is over, the bag is generally intact enough that they can easily pick it up and toss in on the cart for the ride to be composted (they use fresh, sterile mix for each crop).
