was a horse's behind. If a customer was having a problem doing the work of a store employee (checking out) then he should have been on top of it and helped himself if he had no staffing available. I feel sorry for the lady you describe and hope she was able at some point to get her groceries.

The manager in question needs to find another line of work, he obviously isn't cut out for the one he has.
