(19,042 posts)60. My husband's parents were at first Papoo and Gagoo
so called by one of the older grandkids. At least once, the grandchild shortened it to Gag, such as "Hey, Gag, could you get me a drink of milk?"
The grandparents went on to be called Grandma and Grandpa.
I'm just Grandma.

My oldest granddaughter is in her 30s and she still calls me Boompa. I love it. haha. nt
