Hey, SouternDem, as a 67 year old black man, when I hear or read the word "racism", I can never truly be sure that I know what the word means to the person using it. Without context, or an understanding of what racism means to you, it is hard to answer your question. But first, a definition might be helpful, to put us both "on the same page", as it were. So, let's try this one on for size, before we tackle your question, head-on. To this throwback from the 60s, "racism" might best be defined, understood and used, as follows:
"A belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits, capacities, capabilities, and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority attributable to a particular race; to wit, a given superior race, over an inferior race or races"
If this definition works for you, as it has for me, for well over 40 years, then my answer to your question would be-and happily so, I might add-an unequivocal and resounding HECK NO! And this, to my mind, would be true because, to anyone not laboring under any definition of racism, other than the one we now share, sexual attraction, or the lack of it, would simply be a matter of biology and personal preference. Put simply, then, it would be all about what "turns you on", what "floats your boat, and nothing more. Hope this helps.
