Notably, the ratings for the exclusively streamed game was up 6% over last year’s primetime AFC Wild Card Game that was shown on NBC’s broadcast network.


The combination was up 6% over last year's broadcast. They're trying to convince everybody that subscribing is the way to go, be a part of the cool gang now, don't be left out. It's a marketing pitch to kill off broadcasting and switch you to subscribing (bring your own internet connection).
