Haddix only threw 115 pitches in that game.
If the Pirates, who had multiple chances to score in the first 9 innings, had gotten one run, Harvey would have only thrown 80(!) pitches.
Also, Don Hoak was a double goat for Pittsburgh. He made a baserunning error that cost them at least one run early on AND made the throwing error that ruined the perfecto, and put the guy on base that Adcock drove in with a double.
