10. It reminds me of those conservative forums

that dedicate whole (and large) sections of their forums just to the monitoring and dissection of anything they find on DU with which they either disagree or find to be "DUmb.'

Like you, I find it to be creepy and just a colossal waste of time, energy, and emotion. What does it all get you in the end? Really, nothing. So why do it at all?
