I've re-read it a few times and given some time to digesting it.

You've reinforced what a number of people have told me over the years....to not be so hard on myself.

I don't mean to be, but perfection was demanded of me growing up, and my lack of perfection was an excuse for abusing and taking from me.

One thing I've learned is that there are people out there who have learned to use hyper-criticism as a way of taking and extracting more work or belongings, etc. They are bullies. I am trying to learn to not let them psych me out.

I also think it is a good thing for people who hate/fear Scorpios to get a better understanding of how much has been demanded of us, which turns into demands we make of ourselves.

And you are right. I have been in the space before where I forgave myself and then could forgive others. I find it harder to hold that place when other's actions lead to my suffering (such as the bully manager at work). Once I am no longer in pain, I am able to move back into a more forgiving space.
