of Mexico is shamanic art from people that have remained isolated from outside influence--their yarn art is created by pressing beeswax onto wood and then pressing colored yarn on top of that. I love the otherworldly feeling and universal ancient symbolism that seems to communicate on a deeper level than our rational minds.
