13. I noticed they are all staring at what would be some kind of cue cards nearby.

After seeing your post I looked at them again, and there is clearly a hazy look, but the fact they are all staring hard at the same place near the camera makes me believe the scenes are not acual, but the voice people might be. They are all struggling to create the sounds, too. It could be slightly hard, like the work confronting actors on Star Trek portraying Klingons, etc. They all sound a little unconvincing, too!
