(18,618 posts)59. So sorry for your loss. I am glad that Dad got to leave on his own terms without pain.
My Dad passed last October at 92 and thankfully he too left us with no pain under hospice care for liver cancer. He chose quality over quantity by refusing cancer treatment for his late stage liver cancer and left us on his own terms after, per him, 92 great years. Hope you find some comfort in your Dads leaving on his own terms.
