3. Some movies are so deeply affecting.

Saw it in the theater and knew I could only bear it once. I'll never forget it. Ralph Fiennes' character...don't have words. Same with Private Ryan. My sister and I took our dad, who served in the Navy in WW II. We had no idea such a brutally realistic depiction of the D-Day landing was in the offing. Dad made it through, but told us after that one of his best buddies in high school had died on Omaha Beach. Seeing these movies one time keeps those powerful scenes untarnished, undiminished in my memory.
