5. Clinton's approach is pragmatic and logical

the problem is we as human beings are not 100% machines. We like ideas, we have emotions, fears, joys and euphoric triumphs.

Trump is running on appealing to the emotions of Americans that see the glass is half full (eg Make America great again).

Sanders is running on appealing to the emotions of Americans that see the glass is already half full (Obama has given us a solid foundation but now is the time to do more).

Clinton is saying stay the course as the glass is already full and we do not need to do anymore to "improve".

Clinton is looking at things pragmatically as we can't replace the coal industry over night which is logically true. But her pragmatic approach is based on short term tunnel vision thinking. What are the long term ramifications of coal? As solar technology has shown it can and will replace most of the fossil fuel industry at this rate of innovation.
