I have been restrained in my criticism of Senator Sanders, and much of my criticism was a reaction to the criticism lodged upon my candidate by the supporters of Senator Sanders. A simple search would establish the veracity of my claims.

One thing I've noticed about authoritarians is they have almost no concept of how non-authoritarians think. What you are doing might work with fellow authoritarians but fails miserably with those who don't march to that drummer.

This is ironic in light of the fact I never questioned the intelligence or sincerity of Senator Sanders' supporters or his high profile endorsers, except in the rare cases where their aberrant behavior made it warranted. Every Clinton high profile endorser was attacked by the supporters of the senator and sometimes viciously. Also, the questioning of the intelligence of Hillary Clinton's African American supporters continues to this day. Thinking you know what is best for others is the sine qua non of authoritarianism:

"I've seen those posts about how some PoC, feel they can't risk a failed revolution. They will be the ones to take the punch in the face. Kind of like risking losing the easier job at the big house on the plantation and ending up back in the fields for rocking the boat."
