one group pushes for something and the group they are pushing at, pushes back. It doesn't matter what the topic is. Take veganism/vegetarianism... if there is a post in GD about the benefits of the diet, there is a guaranteed group of folks that will push back depending on the strength of the original post. It's always been a heated topic. Same with misogyny on DU... if the women or men point it out, there is immediate pushback. I don't see this behavior changing.

I think it also has to do with personalities... some folks here are just never going to get along and any chance they have at taking jabs at one another seems to be relished.
