Why would very active DUers who were briefly on review never post again? [View all]

I'm thinking of two frequent, high profile commenters who were put on review, then taken off review and now appear as "Active" in their profiles. Neither has commented again, and neither answers DU emails (PMs).

It doesn't make sense. Has anyone else seen this happen?
