I've been here about as long as you. I joined in March of 2003 right before the start of the war in Iraq. My profile says 2009, but I joined under a different user name, "Droopy." The admin let me disable that account when I decided I wasn't Droopy anymore and I started fresh. I think I actually have something like 22,000 posts here, most of them in the lounge. You should swing by the lounge and hang out with us.

And I know you had it right the first time. I think this country was headed in a positive direction before 1980. Then Reagan happened and we've been trying to get back to 1979 ever since then. We lost our way. But I think we are coming back around. Bernie may have lost the primary, but the popularity of his campaign is a good sign for the future I think. The times may be a-changing once again.
