If I do decide to leave, I want it to be clean, whereas just having the card decline it leaves it in a state where the administrators have to spend extra time trying to figure out if it was a glitch or an expired card. I want them to know that it was on purpose, not to rub their noses in it but just to make it clean, because I have been a member for 15 years and I have met two of the administrators. They are good people.

In other words, I want this to be honest and straightforward if it has to come to that. I'm still hoping I get a reasonable answer. This is the first time in 15 years that I have come across an issue that may require that I leave.
