14. I always try to accept too because without moderation, DU could be an ugly place

Plus, serving an a jury is such an inherently democratic thing to do. Instead of having some supreme leader decide who can and can't say something, we let people who've been around for a while help keep others from stinking up the place.

But I do have to say, sometimes it's hard to enforce the "no bashing Democrats" rule. I know it's there to prevent trolls from taking over, but are we really supposed to sit idly by and say nothing when a Democrat acts like a jackass?
