Bogus I Phone Pop Up ad Appearing You May Be Hacked [View all]

Last edited Sun Aug 11, 2019, 07:06 AM - Edit history (1)

A bogus pop-up ad directed at I-phone users and purporting to be from Amazon and offering free $1000 gift cards has popped up on my screen while browsing through DU. Some little cherub may have hacked their way past your safeguards. Spoiling said person’s phishing would make a fine start to this Sunday morning as well as being a good deed.

I apologize for posting this here, but I couldn’t think of another way to contact DU’s administrators.

Sincerely,

VG
