5. I took that years ago, soon switched to generic citalopram because it was much less expensive.

Citalopram is a racemic mix of the same drug containing the inactive mirror image.

I've experienced that beaten up feeling with some meds, but I don't remember which.

The unpleasant side effects of these drugs often fade the longer you take them, but tell your doctor.

Whatever you do, don't quit them suddenly, which I have done more times than I care to admit.
