2. Aerobic exercise really does seem to help control blood sugar

about 18 days from my post here. Friday was a bit scary as I was scheduled for fasting labs at 9:40 AM. I am cursed with my father's ways now-I wake up at 5AM. My morning levels were 60, by the time I got to the lab I was feeling out of sorts. I told the check in lady that I was feeling poorly because of low sugar and if they could get me sooner I would be really happy, Oh and have one of those small cans of OJ handy. They always offer and I never take it.

As soon as the tech did my blood draw she handed me the OJ. It was amazing. I drank half of it in one go and felt 100% better. I checked sugar in the car and it was up to 84.

Keep up the aerobics. I got away from it and this curse got out of control. My sugars got to 200 - 300. That's when the doc started me on Lantus insulin. My dose has gone from 10 units to 80. This week I have been lowering the dose by 5 units and holding good.
