Did you or did you not edit for your own benefit? Case closed. I think it's a positive sign that you had second-thoughts about accusing me of "talking out of my ass" and decided to edit it. But, you cant simply pretend as though simply "editing" means you never wrote the things you did, or that it's completely erased it from reality... or that it erases it from my memory.

That's pretty much what I would have expected anyway. If that's the best you can do, then don't bother. it would only diminish my opinion of you if you did. (Or reinforce the one I already have.) As the old saying goes, at this late hour, it's probably best to say nothing.
