As a brief followup, there is a conservative website (apparently run by good cons and not bad ones!) called "The Russia Tweets" that attempts to track and identify accounts linked to certain hashtags that are either suspected or known to be connected to the Russian IRA (Internet Research Agency). Here is an example summary for just one Twitter account know to be Russian in origin..as you can see, your #demexit one has several hits associated with it but it pales in comparison with the number that glommed on to the granddaddy of them all...#feelthebern.
