Surely you realize that the press he gets is the press hes either asked foror earned. Its one of the few things he has earned.
These are the reason the MSM might not have always been fond of him:
Because this is the guy whos been bellowing since 2015 about identity politics. Know who does that? Sexists and racists who get exasperated when women and minorities have the temeritythe utter gall!to think they have the right to demand that issues they care about get addressed, rather than letting white men decide what matters to them. And hes running for the nomination of a party whose bare is...women and minorities. Gee, why would the press not notice that little paradox?
Because this is the guy who had multiple complaints from women on his 2016 staff who were underpaid compared to men and discriminated against, something he wouldnt acknowledge and ignored for years, until he grudgingly said my bad. And only this year. When he decided to run again and knew it made him look bad.
Because this is the guy who grumbles and groans about what Democrats dont get done that he wants done, when he has nothing to show for his long career in DC but a localized bill and a bunch of plaques on post offices. Any monkey can co-sponsor the legislation of others and vote on it, you know. It takes work and, OMG, statesmanship to put your money where your mouth is by drafting and passing legislation. So where are the checks his ass has cashed? Were wrong to point out his hypocrisy for expecting action from everyone else while doing nothing himself but running his mouth and putting forth the bare minimum of his job duties?
Because he thinks hes entitled to the nomination and, as with his policies, everyone else should jump through hoops to hand it to him, rather than lifting a finger himself.
Because hes a classic aggrieved entitlement spoiled man-baby who, when he doesnt get his way, grouses and groans and grasps at insane straws insulting those disagreeing with him and alleging nutbar paranoid conspiracy theories about everyone being out to get him: Centrists! Corporatists! and, most amusing of all to women and minorities, Establishment! Do tell why the press would or should ignore the question of whether or not insulting voter intelligence and integrity works to influence people to vote for you.
Because he makes big claims that he either doesnt or cant or wont follow through on. Example: He bragged for months that the D party had to get behind him because he would generate massive youth turnout that would guarantee a win over Baron von Fathead. It was the only way to get there and youll all be sorry if you dont fall in line behind St Bern. Howd that work out? Like those of us living in reality thought it would, thats how.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
